ABOUT

Born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Haris wrote his first poems and short stories, in high school. He published his poetry in school magazines and gained national recognition with his guest appearances in numerous TV and radio shows. His short stories were among Honorable Mentions in a few International literary competitions.

He started writing in English language, in May 2017. While publishing poetry and short fiction, in literary magazines throughout North America and Europe, he is also working on three books; One collection of poetry in English and one in Bosnian, as well as a short story collection in Bosnian language. All three books should be published in 2018.

He’s a nominee for 'The Luminaire Award for Best Poetry' in 2018. His poem Lost memories has won the award 'The most beautiful love poems', in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
